Akyra (Meslow / WE_R House)

Danilo Iacone aka Akyra was born in Naples (IT) in 1989, and based in Zurich (CH). The musical approach has been favored by his maternal grandfather that comed from a musicians family and at 10 he started to play guitar and a little bit of piano. Interested by DJing world at 14 he started to discover funk/disco and house music. Music maturity comes with time, as well as the attachment to his vinyl and needles. His selection and own tracks comes in Minimal,
Deep and Microhouse keys, with lot of influences from Hip Hop and Funk. His DJ career gave him lot of opportunities to play with huge international artists. Growth in the clubs since he was a child, he has fostered a great relationship of interaction with the dancefloor and clubber feelings playing in some of best clubs in Europe like Circolo Degli Illuminati (Roma IT), Nouveau Casino (Paris FR), EGG (London UK) and many others. With humility and love for music, he receives the esteem of the great personalities of the Italian and International scene. The growing experience as a producer sees him currently active on labels like WE_R HOUSE, Blind Vision Records, Floorpiece, Aes Music and more to come... From 2019 he's co-founder and co-owner alongside Alessio Viggiano of Meslow, a vinyl only imprint where they decided to press the finest grooves from best artists in the actual electronic scene.
